How often do you Celebrate YOU?

Celebration times, come on!!

I am very happy to share that I have been accredited to practice Coaching/Mentoring by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC) Global EIA, at Senior Practitioner level!

I’m super excited, for yet one more important milestone in my coaching journey & practice has been reached. The EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) is an internationally recognised accreditation that demonstrates that an individual practising as a professional mentor/coach has the appropriate level of knowledge and the ability to apply it effectively in their practice. The EIA sets very high standards and is recognised as a quality mentor/coach accreditation in the marketplace.

On top of all these very high standards set, prerequisites for the Senior Practitioner level require demonstration of coaching maturity; an ability to move beyond models, techniques, skills and frameworks, to focus deeply on Being, the cultivation of self, authority and presence within the coaching practice.

Achieving the EIA accreditation requires a lot of commitment and hard work. In order to receive this professional designation, I was required to prepare and give an account of:

  • My why and how I coach, my approach, my purpose and motivation, as well as the underpinning principles I share, for my practice
  • what my vision of mentoring/coaching is and how my  practice evolved and developed
  • evidence of my internationally recognised coaching qualifications & training
  • client-practice hours in coaching & mentoring: around 3,000 hours in the last 5 years
  • commitment to ongoing Continuing Personal Development (CPD) that includes a recording of hours and Learning Focus: 180 hours in the last 12 months
  • prior experience, education and learning
  • supervision of my work by other professional Coaches/accredited Supervisors
  • feedback from supervisors
  • how I meet & apply the Global Code of Ethics in my practice
  • testimonials from clients

Holding an EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) is a way of demonstrating to my clients as well as my peers, that I maintain and build on the highest standards, that I am serious about my professional development and that I subscribe to a globally recognised code of ethics. Senior Practitioner level competences and qualifications not only equip us as professional coaching specialists, but also enable us to work with a whole range of people, from senior executives, directors and boards of organisations, through to individuals who want to have more control or balance in their relationships or life.

My ‘official’ coaching practice may have started 5 years ago – when I began my first professional training in Coaching with the prestigious Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), but I have really been mentoring, counselling and coaching people, since 1996!

This is, a  life-long journey and those of you who know me well, are aware that I am an insatiable learner, in order to serve to the best of my ability, those who entrust me with the development of their personal as well as professional lives.

This additional badge, next to my CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) – the Advanced Certification granted by the Co-Active Training Institute after intense & rigorous training, exams, an oral exam, practice with clients and supervision and my ACC (Associate Certified Coach), accredited by the International Coaches Federation (ICF) after accreditation of credentials and passing an examination, is my promise to clients and colleagues, that I am upholding the highest of standards in my professional conduct and practice.

Thank you’s to Jo Cleary, our 5-Day Challenge Facilitator,

Dr. Chandana Sanya, EMCC Work Group Lead for European Individual Accreditation’s, all of my fellow pod members in the Challenge and EMCC Cyprus for warmly embracing my accreditation accomplishment. Heartfelt thanks are due also to my supervisors Leonid Frolov and Jonelle Naudè for providing their feedback, as well as to my wonderful clients for generously giving their testimonials.

I coach private individuals, high achieving millennials, women business owners and entrepreneurs, mid-career professionals, leaders, teenagers and young adults (and their parents! ). My clients are inspiring or have an inspiring mission, they must be ready to make a big impact in the world, are fun and must understand the power of commitment.

Curious to find out more? Curious to hear how I can support you?

Then send me a note or call me and gift yourself with the opportunity to experience a deep coaching conversation.

Love,

Marlene 🌻
